APHL Requirements

One perspective on the requirements of a laboratory informatics system has been created by the Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) in their Informatics Self Assessment Tool. In that tool, they describe 19 “Capability Areas” that are desirable for a laboratory informatics system. In this section of the wiki, we will review these criteria and determine what Drupal modules might be applicable to the given Capability Area, and record any ideas about desired refinements to these modules or about entirely new modules.
